Job summary

Aviation Technology Associates (AVTECH Global) is seeking an Aircraft Placard & Part Making Tech to read engineering drawings, interpret specifications, and produce placards and identification plates. The role involves using Illustrator and Gerber Omega, ensuring quality and FAA compliance.

You'll maintain documentation, assist with lean improvements, and support inventory while working with a small team on site in the Savannah area.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 1–4 years reading and interpreting engineering drawings for placards and related parts.

Responsibilities

• Read customer specifications and engineering drawings to determine placard requirements and materials.
• Use Adobe Illustrator, PDF files and Gerber Omega to draw and layout placards.
• Produce placards with foreign languages as needed and ensure FAA compliance.
• Maintain documentation and traceability for materials used.
• Monitor and maintain department materials inventory and support schedule.
