Gulfstream Aerospace in Appleton, WI, seeks a RS Placard & Part Tech Sr to read engineering drawings, select materials, and produce placards, ID plates, and spray masks for aircraft.

Under limited supervision, operate Adobe Illustrator and Gerber Omega to draw and produce placards, maintain FAA documentation, and coordinate with engineering and other departments. Shift: First; travel up to 25% as needed.

Formación

• Read and interpret engineering drawings / specs to determine color, font, dimensions and materials for placards.
• Produce placards, identification plates, vinyl spray masks, and perform wire stamping under supervision.
• Assist engineering in defining placard specifications and create graphics for engineering docs.

Responsabilidades

• Read and interpret customer specifications and drawings to determine placard details.
• Use Adobe Illustrator, pdf files and Gerber Omega to draw and produce placards.
• Use sign cutting equipment to produce masking per Exterior Markings Drawings for exterior paint on Gulfstream aircraft.
• Produce placards in foreign languages to meet registration requirements.
• Maintain documentation and traceability of materials for FAA compliance.
• Verify placards meet engineering requirements and perform installations as needed.
• Perform daily equipment maintenance and adhere to SOPs and safety policies.
• Support Lean Six Sigma and other process improvements to reduce costs.
• Monitor materials inventory and support scheduling for production.
