Aerotek is seeking a Material Handler / Parts Specialist for a contract-to-hire role based at the Dulles, VA hangar. The position focuses on shipping, receiving, and inventory control of aircraft and auto parts, with strict adherence to quality and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Must have strong accuracy in documentation and part numbers.
• Experience with inventory and cycle counts.
• Familiarity with DOT/IATA concepts preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ship and receive parts, materials, cores, and equipment.
• Replenish inventory and log movements in computer systems.
• Inspect for damage and report issues.
• Ensure compliance with quality, documentation, and traceability requirements.
• Perform shelf life audits and cycle counts.
• Maintain organization in warehouse/hangar.
• Use SAP and other systems to track stock.
• Provide responsive internal customer service.
• Follow safety guidelines in hangar environment.
• Maintain clean work area.
