Job summary

Daher Sandpoint, Idaho, is seeking an Aircraft Painter to prepare, priming, paint and finish aircraft structures in accordance with engineering specifications, manufacturer requirements and FAA regulations. You will work with production teams to maintain high cosmetic quality and corrosion protection.

The role requires hands-on experience with spray equipment, paint mixing, masking and inspection for defects such as runs or orange peel, plus reading blueprints and work orders.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years in industrial painting.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and work instructions.
• Experience with primers, topcoats and sealants.
• Knowledge of safety procedures for hazardous materials.

Responsibilities

• Prepare aircraft and components for paint per specs.
• Mix primers, reducers, sealants and topcoats.
• Apply coatings and perform inspections for defects.
• Carry out touch-ups, stripping, masking and refinishing as needed.
• Document materials used and work performed.
