Job summary

Daher's Kodiak Aircraft Coatings team in Sandpoint, Idaho is seeking detail-oriented individuals to join our coating operations. The Aircraft Coatings Processor performs surface prep, masking, priming, painting and finishing in a fast-paced manufacturing environment to support world-class aircraft production.

Ideal candidates have at least 2 years in aerospace or related coatings, the ability to read work instructions and drawings, and a strong commitment to safety and quality.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years experience in aerospace coatings or related production.
• Ability to read instructions, procedures, and specifications.
• Must be able to wear PPE and perform physical work.

Responsibilities

• Prepare aircraft parts and surfaces through cleaning, sanding, chemical treatment, masking, and other surface preparation processes.
• Perform coating preparation, mixing, application, and finishing activities per specifications.
• Process components through coating, treatment, curing, and finishing operations.
• Operate coating equipment, spray systems, processing equipment, and related tools safely.
• Inspect completed work for defects and compliance with requirements.
