Job summary

Daher in Sandpoint, Idaho, is hiring an Aircraft Painter to prepare, prime, paint, and inspect Kodiak aircraft components in a strict manufacturing setting. You will read blueprints, mix coatings, operate spray equipment, and ensure finish quality meets engineering specifications and regulatory standards.

Required: high school diploma or GED and at least 3 years of painting experience; preferred aerospace coating experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of three years of industrial painting experience.
• Knowledge of paint preparation, surface treatment, masking, and coating application techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manufacturing documentation.

Responsibilities

• Prepare aircraft and components for painting, including masking and surface prep.
• Mix primers and coatings according to specifications and data sheets.
• Apply primers, topcoats, and clear coats using approved spray equipment; inspect finishes for defects.
• Document materials used and production status; assist in touch-up and refinishing as needed.
