Spirit AeroSystems seeks a skilled individual for aerospace paint application in Wichita, KS. The role includes responsibilities such as spray application on various substrates, masking, and inspections, requiring expertise in reading engineering documents and fine motor skills. Ideal candidates will have experience with HVLP paint spray equipment and a passion for aviation.

Responsible for the spray application of multiple aerospace paints on various substrates and product configurations, including the setup and application of primers and finish coats. Supporting responsibilities include masking, racking, turning, sanding operations, equipment maintenance, and paint mixing.

All applicants must be willing and able to work any shift, including alternative work weeks. Most new hires are hired on 2nd shift. Candidates must pass the WorkKeys Assessment (www.workkeys.com) or verify they have passed it. Delays in completing the assessment may delay start dates. Assessments can be completed in advance of an interview.
