Job Title: Aircraft Painter – TPS & Structures
Duration: 6+ Months Contract (Possible Extension)
Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Aerospace Integration Technician to support spacecraft production and assembly. This role involves applying Thermal Protection Systems (TPS), performing structural assembly, and working with precision tools to ensure high-quality and safe spaceflight hardware.
Responsibilities
- Apply TPS materials, sealants, and adhesives on flight hardware
- Perform surface preparation, bonding, gap filling, and vacuum bagging
- Interpret engineering drawings, models, and specifications
- Support production setup, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Maintain FOD/tool control and follow 5S and safety standards
- Complete detailed production logs and quality documentation
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in aerospace manufacturing, integration, or MRO
- Experience with adhesives, sealants, composites, or thermal systems
- Strong blueprint reading and precision measurement skills
- Familiarity with FOD control, quality processes, and production environments
- Comfortable working at heights, confined spaces, and lifting up to 50 lbs
