Qualifications

• 3+ years experience painting Corporate and/or VIP/VVIP Aircraft.
• Ability to read blueprints and engineering documentation.

Responsibilities

Temporary Job Description

TeamGlobal has an exciting opportunity in Ardmore, Oklahoma for Aircraft Painters with experience painting aircraft from the nose to the tail. Inquire today... a recruiter will contact you with additional details on this position and our available benefits including $10k Free Life Insurance!

Essential Job Functions & Responsibilities:

1. Mask aircraft for protection from stripper application.
2. Strip aircraft with paint remover, sanding skin and seal aircraft, as required.
3. Wash and prepare aircraft using appropriate and approved cleaning solutions.
4. Prepare surface and apply primer to aircraft for the sanding procedure.
5. Sand aircraft skin smooth and apply top-coat application to aircraft per customer approved design.
6. Paint stripes per customer approved designs and detail aircraft for customer delivery.
7. Perform other tasks as requested by the Paint Project Supervisor.

Required Skills:

1. Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
2. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering documentation.
3. Able to pass Pulmonary Function Test to obtain respirator certification.
4. Able to climb ladders and stairs, work in small restricted areas, lift up to 40 pounds and work any shift.
5. Must be computer literate.

Education and Experience Requirements:

1. High school diploma or GED.
2. Minimum 3 years experience painting Corporate and/or VIP/VVIP Aircraft.
