Job summary

West Star Aviation in Perryville, Missouri, is seeking an Aircraft Paint Technician for a weekend shift. You will paint aircraft, apply base coats, designs, and stripes, and ensure high quality finishes in a heated hangar environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent. Vo-Tech in paint preferred but not required.
• A valid driver’s license for airline travel and/or valid passport is ideal.

Responsibilities

• Masking and taping aircraft parts to avoid overspray.
• Sanding primer.
• Blowing and cleaning aircraft with thinner.
• Washing the paint booth.
• Applying all layers of paint including top coat.
• Laying out stripe and design schemes.
• Prep and scuff paint for trim.
• Re-masking aircraft and detail work.
• Inspect completed paint jobs.
• Paint mixing and paint matching.
