Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent; vo-tech painting training is a plus. Wage ranges vary by experience, with benefits starting on day one.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; vo-tech in paint preferred or on-the-job experience.
• Valid driver’s license for airline travel or a valid passport is ideal.
• Experience levels vary by Tech I–Master Tech; training provided as needed.

Responsibilities

• Masking and taping aircraft parts to avoid overspray.
• Sanding primer and prepping surfaces for paint.
• Applying all layers of paint including top coat.
• Paint mixing and color matching; layout of stripes and designs.
• Inspecting completed paint jobs and ensuring quality.
