Job summary

Airbus Helicopters, Inc. is seeking a skilled Painter/Technician to prepare airframe surfaces for painting and apply coatings following Airbus procedures. This role emphasizes meticulous prep, accurate stripe layout, and adherence to safety and quality standards.

The candidate will read blueprints, use precision tools, and ensure paint work meets customer and regulatory requirements. This is an onsite, US-based position with potential travel to domestic and international sites.

Qualifications

• Strong paint skills required.
• Previous paint work experience in aerospace or related fields preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and Bills of Materials (BOM) for coatings according to Technical Data.

Responsibilities

• Paint prep: perform repairs, sanding, masking and surface prep.
• Paint: operate tools and equipment, ensure compliance with FAA regulations and customer specs.
• Administrative and training: follow safety regulations, support and train others, maintain clean environment.
• Other duties as assigned.
