Job summary

Airbus Helicopters, Inc. is seeking a skilled Painting Technician to prepare blade components and surfaces for painting and to perform the painting of components and airframes following Airbus procedures.

The role focuses on paint preparation, applying primers and finish coats, and ensuring products meet customer specifications. Responsibilities include surface preparation, paint mixing, layout of schemes, and thorough documentation.

Qualifications

• Exceptional time management and ability to multi-task under high volume.
• Strong understanding of customer requirements and Airbus capabilities.
• Ability to train and foster team members.

Responsibilities

• Prepare blade surfaces for painting and apply primers and finish coats.
• Perform paint layout and apply coatings as specified by customer/manufacturer instructions.
• Complete documentation and records including time sheets, RDAS and tool box audits.
