Job summary

Albany Engineered Composites (AEC) is seeking a painting/finishing associate to prepare and paint aircraft components. You will mask, strip, wash sections, and mix paints or coatings to proper spraying consistency, then apply and finish parts per instructions.

Role requires familiarity with power tools and hand tools, attention to detail, and adherence to safety and quality standards in a manufacturing setting. Equal opportunity employer with strong work/life balance.

Qualifications

• Requires shop math and the ability to calculate resin rations.
• Ability to read blueprints.
• Ability to follow directions from supervisor, verbal and written tool orders and engineering orders.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and assemble commercial and military aircraft products.
• Mixes adhesives, paint or resin systems, applies them to piece parts, assembles and secures as required for curing.
• Repairs surface blemishes, IAW written instructions.
• Use of power tools, sanders, drills, paint guns, routers, sand blasters and other applicable tools to manufacturing of paint and assemble aircraft parts.
• Maintain order and cleanliness in assembly/finishing area
