Job summary

West Star Aviation is seeking an Aircraft Nacelles Technician to join our Cedar Hill, TX team. You will perform mechanical tasks, remove/install panels, troubleshoot systems and support engine removal and ground operations in a hangar environment.

Candidates should have AMT experience levels, hold an Airframe or Powerplant license, and be comfortable following FAA guidelines. The role requires good communication in English and the ability to work under supervision with a team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Airframe or Powerplant license required; Airframe preferred.
• 0–2 years in aviation maintenance or related fields.

Responsibilities

• Perform general mechanical tasks on aircraft and related systems.
• Removal and installation of panels and components.
• Troubleshooting and problem-solving aircraft system/component issues.
• De-fueling aircraft.
• Engine removal/installations.
• Operating ground support equipment.
• Inspection and evaluation of the aircraft and components.
• Aircraft movement and assistance in performance runs/taxiing.
• Maintenance and repair of shop facility, equipment and tooling.
• Communicate effectively in English.
