Aircraft Mechanic Lead III, Rotary Wing - DEA - Fort Worth, TX

Join V2X Inc as an Aircraft Mechanic Lead III, Rotary Wing - DEA - Fort Worth, TX. This role involves supervising a team responsible for maintenance of helicopters and small aircraft, exercising independent judgment, and performing duties under minimal supervision.

The key responsibilities include:

  1. Leading maintenance on Bell 407/412, MD Helicopters 369 series, and Airbus Helicopters AS350 aircraft.
  2. Managing aircraft movement and maintenance tasks, ensuring quality and safety standards.
  3. Maintaining records, ordering parts, and ensuring compliance with FAA regulations.
  4. Participating in safety programs, conducting inspections, and supporting aircraft servicing.

Minimum qualifications:

  • High School diploma or GED; technical training or military experience preferred.
  • FAA Airframe & Powerplant certificate required; IA preferred.
  • At least 3 years of hands-on experience with helicopters and small aircraft.

Knowledge and skills required include maintenance support for rotor and fixed-wing aircraft, familiarity with FAA guidelines, and ability to interpret manuals. Physical ability to work in hangar conditions, lift up to 50 pounds, and travel up to 25% is necessary.
