GENERAL DESCRIPTIONTyonek Services Group will provide field maintenance (to include phase maintenance and special inspections), limited sustainment level repair, aviation maintenance management, embedded support to the TDD-A/SIDs Flight Test Division, prototype development of systems and products, and aircraft modifications and upgrades.DUTIES

• Repair, maintain aircraft electric motors, power distribution buses and associated electronics and ability to maintain aircraft small internal combustion engine and turbine engines.
• Build, configure, deploy, operate, and maintain UAS specific RF data links, C2 nodes, UHF/VHF radios, MESH-MANET radios and monitor network management.
• Must provide technical expertise and guidance to solve complex problems by interpreting technical data such as blueprints or original equipment manufactures manuals.
• Use special tools, test measurement diagnostic equipment (TMDE), sheet metal brakes and sheers.
• Must possess the experience and ability to provide technical support to structural/mechanical engineers and special project customers.
• Must safely use, energize, service, and repair applicable Aviation Ground Support Equipment (AGSE)
• Remove, Inspect, repair, modify, and install pertinent aircraft components and airframe structural members, per Maintenance Allocation Chart (MAC)
• Provide ground support to flight operations (external load hook up, tethered hover ground crew, pace truck operations, etc.) as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

• HS diploma or equivalent
• Experience maintaining Group 1-4 UAS, fixed-wing, rotorcraft, or VTOL (T/M/S) platforms.
• Experience with fabrication and repair of composite materials (e.g. carbon-fiber, fiberglass etc.)
• Possess excellent, proactive organizational skills in replenishing bench stocks, petroleum products, and hazardous materials (HAZMAT) items to complete hourly/calendar maintenance requirements and aircraft preventive maintenance services in a timely manner preferred.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Security Clearance
• Must be a U.S. Citizen

• Must be able to walk and stand on level and/or inclined surfaces for certain periods throughout the day.

• May be required to lift up to 50 pounds and carry for short distances.
• May be required to read dials/gauges, identify small objects and hand tools.
• Must be able to see imperfections, micrometer readings and other small scales.
• Must be able to communicate by voice and detect sound by ear.
• Must be able to distinguish color and judge three-dimensional depth.
• May be required to operate power vehicles, machinery, hand tools, ground support equipment, forklift, APU, etc.
