Job summary

Yulista Contract Services LLC is seeking an Engine Specialist with CH-47 experience. The ideal candidate has engine school training including CH-47 APU experience and holds an FAA A&P license to keep CH-47 engines mission-ready.

Responsibilities include inspection, troubleshooting, and repair of complex engine and aircraft systems in challenging environments. Required is knowledge of Garrett/Sundstrand/CH-47 APUs with a strong mechanical background and a track record of working on rotary-wing

Qualifications

• Experience performing periodic inspections and other hourly or calendar inspections.
• Broad knowledge of UH-60/CH-47/530 aircraft systems including hydraulics, engines, APU and electrical.
• FAA A&P license or military engine repair training required.
• Knowledge of Garrett/Sundstrand CH-47 APUs and related components.
• Minimum 10 years in aircraft maintenance or 6 years RDT&E in rotary-wing Army Aviation.
• Military or vocational turbine engine repair training completed.

Do you have engine school training, including CH‑47 APU experience? Are you trained on Garrett/Sundstrand/CH-47 APU systems and skilled in engine inspection, breakdown, and assembly? Do you hold an FAA A&P license and bring the expertise needed to keep CH‑47 engines mission‑ready?

The CH-47 Aircraft Mechanic III applies comprehensive technical knowledge to solve complex problems by interpreting manufactures' manuals, or similar documents. This Mechanic inspects, troubleshoots malfunctions, rigs, repairs and modifies aircraft structures, structural components and aircraft systems of moderate difficulty, maintains and repairs aircraft components including but not limited to landing gear, flight surfaces and controls, anti-icing, engines, hydraulics, pneumatics, fuel systems, ventilation, heating and cooling systems and mechanical components, applies advanced technical knowledge of airframe and power plant systems in diagnosing equipment malfunctions and applies required expertise in restoring equipment condition and or operation; applies comprehensive technical expertise to solve complex problems . This worker reads and interprets manufacturers and airline’s maintenance manuals, service bulletins, technical data, engineering data, and other specifications to determine feasibility and method of repairing or replacing malfunctioning or damaged components.

Basic Qualifications:

• Experience performing periodic, and other hourly, special or calendar inspections.
• Individual must have a thorough knowledge of aircraft mechanical components with the ability to troubleshooting, adjust, repair and replace parts/components; requires broad working knowledge of UH-60/530/CH-47 aircraft systems to include hydraulics, structures, engines, APU and electrical systems.
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Must have an FAA A&P/P license or have completed a military aircraft engine repairer school for 701D/T55/250 series
• Must have knowledge of Garrett/Sundstrand/CH-47 APU’s
• Minimum of 10 years’ experience in aircraft maintenance or 6 years of verifiable RDT&E experience in rotary wing aircraft Army Aviation maintenance is required
• Must have completed a military or vocational school in turbine engine repair.
• Must have Military installation DEPOT level maintenance experience
• Must be eligible to work in the United States
• Must have or be able to obtain a Secret Clearance

Desired skills:

• Engine/APU flight line Production/Expediter experience beneficial.
• Previous experience as a UH-60/CH-47/530 Level II Aircraft Engine Mechanic or equivalent
