Job summary

Yulista Contract Services LLC is seeking an Engine Specialist/CH-47 Aircraft Mechanic III with extensive training in CH-47 engines and APUs. The role requires FAA A&P licensing or equivalent military training, significant experience with UH-60/CH-47/530 systems, and the ability to read complex maintenance manuals to diagnose and restore equipment.

The position emphasizes mission-ready engine work, inspections, troubleshooting, and adherence to strict safety and quality standards within a team

Qualifications

• Experience performing periodic inspections and other hourly, special or calendar inspections.
• Broad knowledge of UH-60/530/CH-47 aircraft systems including hydraulics, structures, engines, APU and electrical systems.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• FAA A&P license or completed military aircraft engine repairer school for 701D/T55/250 series.
• Knowledge of Garrett/Sundstrand/CH-47 APU’s.
• Minimum of 10 years’ experience in aircraft maintenance or 6 years of verifiable RDT&E in rotary wing Army Aviation maintenance.
• Military or vocational turbine engine repair training completed.
• Military installation DEPOT level maintenance experience.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States.
• Must have or be able to obtain a Secret Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, trouble-shoot malfunctions, and repair aircraft structures and systems.
• Repair and modify components including landing gear, flight surfaces, engines, hydraulics, pneumatics, fuel, ventilation and cooling systems.
• Read and interpret manufacturers and airline maintenance manuals and service bulletins to determine repair methods.

The CH-47 Aircraft Mechanic III applies comprehensive technical knowledge to solve complex problems by interpreting manufactures' manuals, or similar documents. This Mechanic inspects, troubleshoots malfunctions, rigs, repairs and modifies aircraft structures, structural components and aircraft systems of moderate difficulty, maintains and repairs aircraft components including but not limited to landing gear, flight surfaces and controls, anti-icing, engines, hydraulics, pneumatics, fuel systems, ventilation, heating and cooling systems and mechanical components, applies advanced technical knowledge of airframe and power plant systems in diagnosing equipment malfunctions and applies required expertise in restoring equipment condition and or operation; applies comprehensive technical expertise to solve complex problems . This worker reads and interprets manufacturers and airline’s maintenance manuals, service bulletins, technical data, engineering data, and other specifications to determine feasibility and method of repairing or replacing malfunctioning or damaged components.

Basic Qualifications:

• Experience performing periodic, and other hourly, special or calendar inspections.
• Individual must have a thorough knowledge of aircraft mechanical components with the ability to troubleshooting, adjust, repair and replace parts/components; requires broad working knowledge of UH-60/530/CH-47 aircraft systems to include hydraulics, structures, engines, APU and electrical systems.
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Must have an FAA A&P/P license or have completed a military aircraft engine repairer school for 701D/T55/250 series
• Must have knowledge of Garrett/Sundstrand/CH-47 APU’s
• Minimum of 10 years’ experience in aircraft maintenance or 6 years of verifiable RDT&E experience in rotary wing aircraft Army Aviation maintenance is required
• Must have completed a military or vocational school in turbine engine repair.
• Must have Military installation DEPOT level maintenance experience
• Must be eligible to work in the United States
