Job summary

Y-Tech Services Inc at Eglin AFB, FL is seeking an Aircraft Mechanic II to inspect, troubleshoot, rig, repair, and modify aircraft structures and systems of moderate difficulty. You will read maintenance manuals, service bulletins and data to determine repair methods, perform inspections, and apply comprehensive expertise to restore equipment condition and operation.

This onsite, regular full-time role requires knowledge of C-130J systems, experience with preflight and post-flight checks, and

Qualifications

• Thorough knowledge of aircraft mechanical components; troubleshoot, repair, and replace parts on C-130J.
• Experience performing periodic and other inspections (hourly, special, or calendar).
• Basic electrical theory knowledge and use of aircraft tools such as test equipment, torque wrenches, dial indicators, and micrometers.
• Proficient with USAF Technical Orders, DTADS, AFTO 781 forms, and IMDS data entry.
• Experience with launch/recovery, preflight, thru-flight, and basic post-flight and corrosion inspections.
• Prior experience as Refuel/Defuel, Aircraft Jack, and Tow Team Supervisor.
• Ability to obtain a DoD Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair aircraft structures and systems of moderate difficulty.
• Read manuals and data to determine feasible repair methods and procedures.
• Maintain and repair components including landing gear, hydraulics, engines, and fuel systems.
