Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• F-18E/F Military Service Aircraft Maintenance Program highly desirable.
• 3+ years of experience maintaining fighter jet aircraft at the organizational, intermediate or depot level.
• 3+ years of experience maintaining F-18E/F aircraft is highly desirable.
• Active DOW Secret Clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Maintains and repairs aircraft structures and components of moderate difficulty.
• Repairs flight controls, engines, hydraulics, pneumatics, fuel systems.
• Applies technical knowledge to diagnose malfunctions.
• Restores equipment condition and operation.
• Interprets blueprints and manuals to solve problems.
• Knowledge of aircraft mechanical components troubleshooting and replacement.
• Broad knowledge of aircraft sheet metal/structural modifications and repair; basic electrical theory.
• Leads teams through complex tasks when required.
• May log entries in aircraft logs.
• Prioritizes workload to meet project schedules.
