Kay and Associates, Inc. is seeking an Aircraft Mechanic II to support B-1B OID maintenance at Dyess AFB, TX. The role requires an FAA A&P certification or military equivalent and active Secret clearance for depot-level tasks.
As a mid-level mechanic, you will perform inspections, troubleshoot, repair, and install TCTOs, mods, and structural components across avionics, hydraulics, and propulsion systems on the B-1 fleet.

Summary
Provides support of Organizational, Intermediate, and Depot (OID) level maintenance functions to facilitate comprehensive aviation maintenance in support of B-1B maintenance at Dyess AFB in accordance with the Air Force Aviation Maintenance Programs, applicable technical data, and federal contract requirements.
Mid-level aircraft mechanic supporting B-1B OID maintenance operations.

Physical Requirements
Must be able to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation, including lifting up to 50 lbs., standing and walking for extended periods, bending, kneeling, climbing, and working in confined or elevated spaces. Requires sufficient manual dexterity and vision to use tools and inspect aircraft systems. Must be able to work in high-noise environments, wear required PPE, and work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Employees who opt out of group health insurance receive $1.50/hour paid up to 40 hours per week. Employees have a minimum of eleven paid holidays. Vacation/PTO IAW with applicable collective bargaining agreement.
