Job summary

V2X is seeking an Aircraft Mechanic/Technician to support maintenance on aircraft, requiring an Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) license. The role emphasizes adherence to technical data, safe work practices, and precise execution of repairs and modifications.

Candidates should have strong communication, problem solving, and time-management skills. Travel may be required up to 10% to support mission-ready operations and operations across locations.

Responsibilities

• Performs tasks as assigned/directed by Maintenance Supervisors and/or Maintenance Manager in accordance with instructions, applicable technical data, manuals, and directives.
• Evaluates aircraft discrepancies to identify proper methods for repair. Identifies necessary parts, materials, and tooling requirements to complete tasks.
• Utilize manufacturers’ maintenance manuals, service bulletins, Maintenance Engineering Directives, schematics, drawings, blueprints, charts, and other applicable publications to install, test, troubleshoot, and ensure aircraft modifications are accomplished in a timely manner.
• Inspect for corrosion, treat, and repair discrepancies. Perform touch up painting and apply decals and labels. Prepare aircraft components for paint.
• Comply with and follow established standards of workmanship, safety, quality, and production.
