Job summary

Textron Systems ATAC in North Carolina seeks an Aircraft Mechanic to perform maintenance actions on aircraft, ensuring safe launch and recovery on the flight line at permanent and detachment sites. You will troubleshoot malfunctions, repair and replace components, and manage maintenance programs across multiple aircraft types.

The role requires an A&P certificate or at least 5 years of military aircraft maintenance equivalency, the ability to lift 50 lbs, and travel up to 25%.

Qualifications

• A&P certification or 5+ years of military aircraft maintenance experience.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and climb in/out of aircraft.
• Capable of on-site maintenance across multiple aircraft types.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance actions in support of commitments.
• Troubleshoot malfunctions in aircraft structure, landing gear, flight surfaces and controls.
• Repair, replace, and rebuild aircraft structures and components.
• Perform 100-hour, phase, and other inspections.
• Coordinate detachment requirements with Crew Chiefs as needed.
• Supervise or train maintenance personnel as required.
