Textron Systems ATAC at Cherry Point, NC, seeks an Aircraft Mechanic I to perform maintenance on our aircraft and support safe, efficient flight line operations at permanent and detachment sites.

Qualified candidates typically hold an A&P certificate (or equivalent military experience), can perform complex maintenance unsupervised, and may train junior technicians while traveling up to 25% of the time. The role requires handling maintenance programs and various inspection types.

Qualifications

• A&P certification or military aircraft maintenance equivalency (5+ years).
• Must be capable of unsupervised complex maintenance actions and use of specialized tooling.

Responsabilités

• Maintenance efforts in support of company commitments.
• Proficient in one type/model aircraft and helper on additional type/model aircraft.
• Training of maintenance personnel
• Manage assigned maintenance programs
• Travel up to 25%
• Perform 100-hour, progressive, isochronal, phase, periodic, and other inspections
