Job summary

Akima Technical Solutions (ATS) seeks an Aircraft Mechanic I to support Pope, NC operations. You will repair, replace, and rebuild aircraft structures and systems using hand and power tools, guided by manuals and data to determine repair methods.

You will troubleshoot avionics and related systems, maintain logbooks, and support C-27, C-12, and CASA aircraft. Successful candidates will have aviation maintenance experience and the ability to obtain a DoD clearance.

Qualifications

• Must have aviation maintenance experience (turbo-prop experience preferred).
• Ability to troubleshoot avionics systems.
• Able to read and interpret schematics and IETMs.
• Maintain aircraft logbook forms and records.
• Physical ability to work in tight spaces and at heights.

Responsibilities

• Repair, replace, and rebuild aircraft structures and systems using hand/power tools.
• Troubleshoot malfunctions on airframe and systems including hydraulics, pneumatics, and engines.
• Read maintenance manuals, service bulletins, and data to determine repair methods.
• Support C-27, C-12, and CASA aircraft operations.
