Job summary

Aerotek in Phoenix, AZ is seeking an experienced aircraft mechanic to perform comprehensive maintenance and repair in a 14 CFR Part 145 environment. You will research technical data and disassemble, repair, and reassemble aircraft components with specialized tools.

Experience with Boeing and Airbus airframes is preferred. The role is contract-to-hire, onsite in Phoenix, with a pay range of $39.12–$45.00/hr and strong benefits once hired full-time.

Qualifications

• Experience in heavy maintenance on commercial aircraft is required or highly beneficial.
• Ability to read and interpret maintenance manuals, service bulletins, and specifications.
• Hands-on disassembly, inspection, and reassembly of aircraft components.

Responsibilities

• Research technical data and follow manuals, service bulletins, and FAA regulations to repair or replace components.
• Disassemble, repair, clean, adjust, assemble, test, and calibrate aircraft components with specialized tools.
• Repair or replace aircraft structures and functional systems, including rigging, hydraulics, and plumbing.
• Read manufacturers’ and airlines’ manuals and specs to assess repair feasibility and execute procedures.
