Job description

Join our client's team as an Aircraft Mechanic

in Kansas City, a leading aircraft component service operation. Our client's team specializes in a wide range of aircraft components and operates across multiple sites, offering an exciting opportunity for skilled individuals to work on challenging projects in a dynamic environment. As an Aircraft Mechanic, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the airworthiness of aircraft by servicing, repairing, and overhauling components with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities:
  1. Utilize intermediate knowledge to perform routine maintenance work on specialized aircraft components.
  2. Develop repair schemes and communicate effectively with maintenance personnel.
  3. Read and interpret manufacturer manuals and specifications to determine repair methods.
  4. Conduct operational tests and maintain a clean work area.
  5. Perform specific tasks based on assigned area such as flight control, systems, sheet metal/structures, or airframe cabin interiors.
  6. Adhere to safety guidelines and report any incidents promptly.
Qualifications:
  1. High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  2. Airframe and/or Power plant License preferred.
  3. Completion of an apprenticeship program in a related field or two years of relevant aircraft maintenance experience.
  4. Ability to communicate effectively and work with minimal supervision.
  5. Proficiency in relevant specialty of aircraft maintenance.
  6. Must meet all regulatory requirements per FAR 65.
