Position Summary:

We are seeking a highly qualified Bell 407 Mechanic – 2nd Line to join our client’s aviation maintenance team in the UAE. The ideal candidate will have solid experience on the Bell 407 GX and GXP helicopters, strong diagnostic skills, and the ability to perform intermediate-level maintenance in a dynamic, mission-focused environment. This role ensures in-depth mechanical reliability of the Bell 407 fleet.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct 2nd line/intermediate maintenance on Bell 407 GX and GXP aircraft, including engines, transmissions, and rotor systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical systems with advanced diagnostic tools and technical publications.
• Perform teardown, inspection, overhaul, and reassembly of major components as required.
• Maintain detailed maintenance records and logs using TAMMS and company systems.
• Support airworthiness and mission-readiness goals through quality-focused maintenance practices.
• Follow all safety protocols and ensure compliance with regulatory maintenance procedures.
• Collaborate with quality, avionics, and logistics teams to support scheduled and unscheduled maintenance tasks.
• 8+ years of experience on the Bell 407 aircraft
• Licensed and Type Rated on the Bell 407
• Must have experience with Bell 407 GX and GXP helicopters

Preferred Qualifications:

• Strong knowledge of The Army Maintenance Management System (TAMMS)
• Thorough knowledge in the use of common tools, special tools, test equipment, and aviation ground support equipment used in aircraft maintenance
• FAA Airframe and Powerplant Certificate or industry equivalent
