You will review designs for manufacturability, develop assembly sequences, troubleshoot production issues, and work directly with engineering, manufacturing, and touch‑labor teams.

What You’ll Do

  • Review engineering models and technical drawings for manufacturability and producibility
  • Identify design errors, omissions, and production challenges and recommend improvements
  • Work within a model‑based engineering environment using 3DX
  • Develop manufacturing operations, assembly procedures, and build sequences
  • Support prototype, first‑article, and new product introduction programs
  • Provide input to engineering teams on design concepts, specifications, tooling, and assembly methods
  • Investigate manufacturing problems and initiate corrective actions
  • Provide hands‑on support to production and shop‑floor personnel
  • Collaborate within an Integrated Product Team environment
  • Make independent technical decisions affecting aircraft production and integration
Required Qualifications
  • 10+ years of aircraft subsystem or structural assembly and integration experience
  • 5+ years of applied aircraft experience, including production support, maintenance, testing, or similar work
  • Experience supporting development, prototype, first‑article, or new product introduction programs
  • 4+ years of recent experience with 3DX or CATIA V5
  • Experience reviewing engineering models and drawings for producibility and manufacturability
  • Strong understanding of aircraft hardware, assembly processes, and production environments
  • Ability to work independently and make sound technical decisions
  • Strong communication skills and experience working within cross‑functional engineering and manufacturing teams
Preferred Experience
  • Aircraft subsystem testing and troubleshooting
  • Liaison or manufacturing engineering
  • Hands‑on production or shop‑floor support
  • Integrated air vehicle design or assembly
  • Wire harness and interconnect installation
  • Metallic part machining
  • DELMIA
  • Aviation maintenance experience or an A&P license
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline
Why This Role

You’ll work directly on complex aircraft hardware and have a meaningful impact on how designs move from engineering into successful production and final assembly.
