ADP, Inc. in Dothan, AL is seeking an Aircraft Maintenance Training Specialist to manage the maintenance training program and ensure FAA-compliant training per the approved manuals. You will maintain training records and train personnel on the Repair Station Manual.

You will work with the Director of Quality and Safety, developing curricula for classroom, CBT, and on-the-job training while coordinating with staff and contractors to meet department requirements and safety goals.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of five years of work experience performing training, curriculum design, and aviation related topics.
  • Current A&P License required, working knowledge of 14 CFR Part 145 and part 121 operations.
  • Ability to train, present and develop materials for classroom, CBT, OJT or other mediums.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the company maintenance training program.
  • Ensure compliance with the FAA approved training program and training manual.
  • Provide recommendations for TPM revisions to the Director – Quality and Safety.
  • Develop and maintain training curriculum and materials for classroom, CBT, OJT or other mediums.
  • Maintain training records for personnel.
  • Coordinate with various members of the organization to develop training for active and contractor personnel.
  • Develop training schedules and personnel listings for required and elective training activities.
  • Prepare timely and relevant Maintenance Training Bulletins.
  • Actively support the company safety program and initiatives.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Aircraft Maintenance Training Specialist

Full Time Dothan, AL, US


Trains repair station personnel to ensurecompliance with the FAA approved Training Manual and Program.Ensures personnel are trained to meet therequirements of the various department’s requirements.Maintains all training records for thecompany.Trains company personnel on theRepair Station Manual.W ill be instrumental to the Company’s trainingand safety endeavors, assisting the Director of Quality and Safety.


POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Managethe company maintenance training program.

  • Ensurescompliance with the company’s FAA approved training program and trainingmanual.

  • Providerecommendations for TPM revisions to the Director – Quality and Safety.

  • Developand maintain training curriculum and materials suitable for presentation informal classroom, CBT, OJT or other appropriate mediums.

  • Maintaintraining records for personnel .

  • Coordinatewith various members of the organization to identify and develop training foractive and contractor personnel.

  • DevelopTraining schedules and personnel listing for required and elective trainingactivities.

  • Preparetimely and relevant Maintenance Training Bulletins.

  • Activelysupport the company safety program and initiatives.

EDUCATION:

High SchoolDiploma/GED.Undergraduate studiespreferred.


EXPERIENCE:

Minimum of fiveyears work experience performing training, curriculum design, and presentationof aviation related topics (technical, policies and procedures, andsafety).Current A & P License required, working knowledge of 14 CFR Part 145 and part 121 operations.


KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:


  • Ispassionate about transferring knowledge to others. Is able to engage withlearners, keeping them focused and interested so as to maximize their retentionof what is being taught.

  • Knowledgeof maintenance operations involving transport category aircraft.

  • Excellentwritten and verbal communication skills. Must be able to prepare reports,correspondence, training and procedural documents suitable for variousaudiences. Must be able to communicate with different levels of management,domestic and foreign regulatory officials, and customer representatives.

  • Excellentorganizational skills in order to handle multiple tasks, departmental projects,and resources are required.

  • Abilityto develop training deliverables in compliance with FAA and organizationalobjectives.Must be able to performthese tasks without supervision and make recommendations to management onexecution of the training.

  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office including Excel, Word and Power Point in order to develop reports, correspondence, memos and presentations.

  • Familiarity with CBT applications for training and testing purposes.

  • Mustpass a TSA background check for AOA access and substance abuse screenings.


Must possess a valid driver’s license for AOA drivingauthorization
