Aircraft Maintenance Technician Team Lead (Weekend Nights) in GAC St. Louis


Unique Skills:

Gulfstream large cabin experience preferred. Must be willing to work 5th shift (weekend nights) - Friday, Saturday, Sunday - 6:00pm-6:30am.

The compensation range for this role is $47.73 - $55.68 per hour.

Final compensation will be determined by several factors including qualifications, skills, experience, and location.

Education and Experience Requirements
High School Diploma or GED required. 10 years of aviation maintenance experience (avionics, electrical, mechanical), including 4 years with Gulfstream aircraft. A&P (FAA Airframe and Powerplant) license required. Valid Driver's License required.Position Purpose: To plan and coordinate aircraft maintenance, repairs, replacements, and modifications, ensuring proper operation. Provide work directions to technicians performing maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs.
Job Description
Principle Duties and Responsibilities:Essential Functions:
  • Ensure maintenance and servicing of all aircraft mechanical systems.
  • Lead repair, maintenance, installation, and troubleshooting of aircraft components such as airframes, engines, landing gear, electrical, and control systems.
  • Coordinate with inspection teams to ensure FAA and internal compliance.
  • Complete work order sign-offs, shift turnovers, and documentation promptly.
  • Ensure quality standards and specifications are met.
  • Properly tag and store customer property and aircraft components securely.
  • Follow SOPs and JSAs when operating ground support equipment.
  • Operate and oversee special support equipment for major component removal and installation.
  • Coordinate with other departments for overhaul or repair of customer property.
  • Additional Functions:
  • Apply 6S and Lean initiatives for cleanliness and organization.
  • Maintain tools and equipment properly.
  • Coordinate aircraft movement as needed.
  • Maintain advanced knowledge of FAA regulations, manuals, and company policies.
  • Other Requirements:
  • Advanced knowledge of aircraft inspection and maintenance procedures.
  • Familiarity with technical manuals, repair stations, and engineering drawings.
  • Proficiency in English (reading, writing, speaking, understanding).
