Aircraft Maintenance Technician - RW (NE)

Join us at Air Evac Lifeteam as an Aircraft Maintenance Technician (AMT) responsible for maintaining the safety and reliability of our fleet. This full-time role in Fayette, AL, involves supporting rotor wing aircraft to ensure timely and high-quality patient transportation services.

Position Details

• Starting Salary: $62,705 - $91,455 annually
• IA Stipend: $2,080
• Sign-On Bonus: $10,000

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical inspections, repairs, and maintenance services, providing updates to the Lead Technician.
• Manage inventory, update logs, and document parts expenditures.
• Accurately complete service paperwork and adhere to FAA regulations and company policies.
• Maintain a safe, clean work environment and facilitate effective communication among teams.
• Collaborate professionally with all personnel and external vendors.

Minimum Qualifications

• Two (2) years of turbine helicopter experience
• Valid A&P license
• High School diploma or GED
• Valid driver’s license
• Knowledge of FAA regulations and aircraft maintenance systems
• Ability to work flexible hours, including overtime and on-call shifts
• Capable of lifting 50 lbs

Preferred Qualifications

• FAA Inspection Authorization
• Experience under CFR Part 135
• Autopilot, avionics, electrical repair, and specific aircraft maintenance experience
