Job summary

Reach Air Medical Services in Napa, CA is hiring an Aircraft Maintenance Technician (AMT) to maintain and certify our EC135 airframe. You will perform inspections, manage parts, document FAA records, and support a safe, high-quality patient transport operation.

The role requires a 3+ year turbine helicopter background, valid A&P license, FAA knowledge, and the ability to work flexible shifts including on-call rotations. On-site work in Napa with competitive compensation.

Qualifications

  • Three (3) years turbine powered helicopter experience.
  • Valid Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) license.
  • Valid State issued Driver's license.
  • High School diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Federal Aviation Regulations knowledge.
  • EMS Systems, Aircraft maintenance systems, records and maintenance support and planning.
  • Ability to work aflexible scheduleincluding overtime and 24/7 on-call rotations.
  • Must be acceptable in accordance with the FAA drug and alcohol testing program.
  • Must be able to push and/or pull 100+ lbs.
  • Must be able to lift and/or carry up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

  • Aircraft Maintenance Technician will perform maintenance services including mechanical inspections, screening, repairs and provide regular statuses to the Lead Technician.
  • Manage inventory checks to ensure stock of supplies and equipment, regularly update the equipment tracking log, place replacement requests when necessary and document part expenditures.
  • Clearly document service paperwork and FAA information as required and adhere to policies and procedures while complying with the company’s information security standards.
  • Take pride in sustaining a safe and clean working environment for the aircraft maintenance team and flight crew.
  • Use appropriate communication methods to help facilitate coordination of efforts between departments, vendors and team members.
  • Work collaboratively and in a professional manner with all allied health and public safety personnel as well as your fellow AMTs and operations team.

  • Starting Salary: $78,287 - $113,480 annually

We’re hiring anAircraft Maintenance Technician (AMT)responsible for the overall maintenance and safety of our fleet within Reach Air Medical Services. This technician will be qualified to support our EC135 airframe. This is a key role to ensure our team can safely maintain and deliver timely and high-quality transportation services, care and customer service to patients.
