Job summary

Reach Air Medical Services, part of Global Medical Response, is actively hiring an Aircraft Maintenance Technician (AMT) in Napa, CA. This full-time role focuses on the maintenance and safety of our EC135 fleet, delivering high-quality air medical transport services.

The candidate will perform inspections, repairs, and paperwork while coordinating with the Lead Technician and flight crew. A&P license and FAA knowledge are required, with on-call rotations and a competitive salary.

Qualifications

• Three years turbine-powered helicopter experience.
• Valid A&P license.
• Valid state Driver's license.
• High School diploma or GED.
• Federal Aviation Regulations knowledge.
• EMS maintenance systems experience.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including overtime and 24/7 on-call rotations.
• Must pass FAA drug and alcohol testing.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must be able to push/pull 100+ lbs.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance services including mechanical inspections, repairs, and provide regular statuses to the Lead Technician.
• Manage inventory checks, update the equipment tracking log, and place replacement requests as needed.
• Document FAA paperwork and adhere to policies and procedures while complying with information security standards.
• Maintain a safe, clean working environment for the aircraft maintenance team and flight crew.
• Use appropriate communication methods to coordinate across departments, vendors, and team members.
• Collaborate with AMTs and operations staff professionally and effectively.

• Starting Salary: $78,287 - $113,480 annually
• IA Stipend 2,080
• Sign-On Bonus 12,500

We’re hiring anAircraft Maintenance Technician (AMT)responsible for the overall maintenance and safety of our fleet within Reach Air Medical Services. This technician will be qualified to support our EC135 airframe. This is a key role to ensure our team can safely maintain and deliver timely and high-quality transportation services, care and customer service to patients.

Responsibilities

• Aircraft Maintenance Technician will perform maintenance services including mechanical inspections, screening, repairs and provide regular statuses to the Lead Technician.
• Manage inventory checks to ensure stock of supplies and equipment, regularly update the equipment tracking log, place replacement requests when necessary and document part expenditures.
• Clearly document service paperwork and FAA information as required and adhere to policies and procedures while complying with the company’s information security standards.
• Take pride in sustaining a safe and clean working environment for the aircraft maintenance team and flight crew.
• Use appropriate communication methods to help facilitate coordination of efforts between departments, vendors and team members.
• Work collaboratively and in a professional manner with all allied health and public safety personnel as well as your fellow AMTs and operations team.

Minimum Required Qualifications

• Three (3) years turbine powered helicopter experience
• Valid Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) license
• Valid State issued Driver's license
• High School diploma or GED equivalent
• Federal Aviation Regulations knowledge
• EMS Systems, Aircraft maintenance systems, records and maintenance support and planning
• Ability to work aflexible scheduleincluding overtime and 24/7 on-call rotations.
• Must be acceptable in accordance with the FAA drug and alcohol testing program.
• Must be able to push and/or pull 100+ lbs.
• Must be able to lift and/or carry up to 50 lbs.

Preferred Qualifications

• EC135 maintenance experience or equivalent
• FAA Inspection Authorization Certificate
• Related experience under CFR Parts 91, 135 and 145
• Autopilot maintenance experience
• Avionics and electrical repair experience
