Job summary

West Star Aviation is seeking an Aircraft Maintenance Technician to join our Dallas team. This full-time, on-site role offers opportunities to work on a variety of civilian aircraft and to grow professionally within a leading MRO provider.

You will perform general mechanical tasks, remove/install panels, troubleshoot systems, conduct inspections, and ensure airworthiness under FAA guidelines. The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent and an Airframe and Powerplant license, plus

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Airframe and Powerplant License required.
• Driver’s license for airline travel and/or valid passport ideal.

Responsibilities

• Perform general mechanical tasks on aircraft and related systems.
• Remove and install panels and components.
• Troubleshoot and problem-solve aircraft system issues.
• Maintenance and repair of shop facilities, equipment and tooling.
• Provide detailed reports of work progression and items for shift turnover.
