Job summary

Guardian Flight, LLC in Gallup, NM is hiring an Aircraft Maintenance Technician for a full-time role focused on maintaining and safely operating our Pilatus PC-12 and King Air C90 fleets. Starting salary ranges from $65,239 to $94,567 annually, with additional IA stipend and a $12,500 sign-on bonus.

The AMT will perform mechanical inspections, manage inventory, document FAA information, and coordinate with the Lead Technician and flight crew to ensure timely, high-quality patient transport

Qualifications

• Two (2) years turboprop and/or turbine powered fixed-wing experience.
• Valid Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) license.
• Valid State issued Driver's license.
• High School diploma or GED equivalent.
• Federal Aviation Regulations knowledge.
• EMS Systems, Aircraft maintenance systems, records and maintenance support and planning.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including overtime and 24/7 on-call rotations.
• Must be acceptable in accordance with the FAA drug and alcohol testing program.
• Must be able to push and/or pull 100+ lbs; lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance services including mechanical inspections, screening, repairs and provide regular statuses.
• Manage inventory checks, update equipment tracking logs and document expenditures.
• Document service paperwork and FAA information in compliance with policies.
• Maintain a safe, clean working environment for the aircraft maintenance team and flight crew.
• Communicate effectively to coordinate across departments, vendors and team members.
• Collaborate with allied health and public safety personnel and operations staff.

We’re hiring an Aircraft Maintenance Technician (AMT) responsible for the overall maintenance and safety of our fleet within Guardian Flight. This technician will be qualified to support our Pilatus PC-12 and King Air C90 airframe. This is a key role to ensure our team can safely maintain and deliver timely and high-quality transportation services, care and customer service to patients.

Responsibilities

• Aircraft Maintenance Technician will perform maintenance services including mechanical inspections, screening, repairs and provide regular statuses to the Lead Technician.
• Manage inventory checks to ensure stock of supplies and equipment, regularly update the equipment tracking log, place replacement requests when necessary and document part expenditures.
• Clearly document service paperwork and FAA information as required and adhere to policies and procedures while complying with the company’s information security standards.
• Take pride in sustaining a safe and clean working environment for the aircraft maintenance team and flight crew.
• Use appropriate communication methods to help facilitate coordination of efforts between departments, vendors and team members.
• Work collaboratively and in a professional manner with all allied health and public safety personnel as well as your fellow AMTs and operations team.

Minimum Required Qualifications

• Two (2) years turboprop and/or turbine powered fixed-wing experience
• Valid Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) license
• Valid State issued Driver's license
• High School diploma or GED equivalent
• Federal Aviation Regulations knowledge
• EMS Systems, Aircraft maintenance systems, records and maintenance support and planning

Preferred Qualifications

• King Air C90 or Pilatus PC-12 maintenance experience or equivalent
• FAA Inspection Authorization Certificate
• Related experience under CFR Part 14
• Autopilot maintenance experience
• Avionics and electrical repair experience
