Job summary

Guardian Flight in Gallup, NM is seeking an Aircraft Maintenance Technician (AMT) for a full-time position to maintain our Pilatus PC-12 and King Air C90 airframes, ensuring safety and timely patient transport. The role requires 2+ years turboprop/turbine experience, an A&P license, and FAA regulatory knowledge.

Starting salary ranges from $65,239 to $94,567 annually, with a $12,500 sign-on bonus and a $2,080 IA stipend. Monday–Friday schedule with on-call rotations to support 24/7 operations.

Qualifications

• Two years turboprop and/or turbine powered fixed-wing experience.
• Valid Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) license.
• Valid state driver's license.
• High School diploma or GED equivalent.
• Federal Aviation Regulations knowledge.
• EMS systems and aircraft maintenance records knowledge.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including overtime and on-call rotations.
• FAA drug and alcohol testing program compliance.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and push/pull 100+ lbs.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance services including mechanical inspections and repairs; provide regular status updates.
• Manage inventory, update logs, and place replacement requests; document part expenditures.
• Document service paperwork and FAA information per policies and security standards.
• Maintain a safe, clean working environment for aircraft maintenance and flight crews.
• Communicate effectively with departments, vendors and team members.
• Collaborate with allied health and public safety personnel and fellow AMTs.

We’re hiring an Aircraft Maintenance Technician (AMT)responsible for the overall maintenance and safety of our fleet within Guardian Flight. This technician will be qualified to support our Pilatus PC-12 and King Air C90 airframe. This is a key role toensure our team can safely maintain and deliver timely and high-quality transportation services, care and customer service to patients.

Responsibilities

• Aircraft Maintenance Technician will perform maintenance services including mechanical inspections, screening, repairs and provide regular statuses to the Lead Technician.
• Manage inventory checks to ensure stock of supplies and equipment, regularly update the equipment tracking log, place replacement requests when necessary and document part expenditures.
• Clearly document service paperwork and FAA information as required and adhere to policies and procedures while complying with the company’s information security standards.
• Take pride in sustaining a safe and clean working environment for the aircraft maintenance team and flight crew.
• Use appropriate communication methods to help facilitate coordination of efforts between departments, vendors and team members.
• Work collaboratively and in a professional manner with all allied health and public safety personnel as well as your fellow AMTs and operations team.

Minimum Required Qualifications

• Two (2) years turboprop and/or turbine powered fixed-wing experience
• Valid Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) license
• Valid State issued Driver's license
• High School diploma or GED equivalent
• Federal Aviation Regulations knowledge
• EMS Systems, Aircraft maintenance systems, records and maintenance support and planning
• Ability to work aflexible scheduleincluding overtime and 24/7 on-call rotations.
• Must be acceptable in accordance with the FAA drug and alcohol testing program.
• Must be able to push and/or pull 100+ lbs.
• Must be able to lift and/or carry up to 50 lbs.

Preferred Qualifications

• King Air C90 or Pilatus PC-12 maintenance experience or equivalent
• FAA Inspection Authorization Certificate
• Related experience under CFR Part 14
• Autopilot maintenance experience
• Avionics and electrical repair experience
