Job summary

Guardian Flight, Inc. is seeking an Aircraft Maintenance Technician (AMT) for its Watford City, ND base. The role focuses on the maintenance and safety of our fleet, with work on Pilatus PC-12 airframes and strict FAA compliance.

This is a full‑time position with a competitive starting salary and benefits. The AMT will perform inspections, repairs and record keeping, while coordinating with the Lead Technician and operations teams to ensure timely, high‑quality patient transport services.

Qualifications

• Two years turboprop and/or turbine-powered fixed-wing experience.
• A&P license and FAA regulatory knowledge.
• Valid state driver’s license and ability to meet on-call requirements.
• Must comply with FAA drug and alcohol testing program.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and push/pull 100+ lbs.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance services including mechanical inspections, repairs and provide regular statuses to the Lead Technician.
• Manage inventory checks to ensure stock of supplies and equipment and document expenditures.
• Document service paperwork and FAA information as required and adhere to policies and procedures.
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment for aircraft maintenance team and flight crew.
• Coordinate with departments, vendors and team members to facilitate maintenance efforts.
• Collaborate with allied health and public safety personnel and operations team.

We’re hiring anAircraft Maintenance Technician (AMT)responsible for the overall maintenance and safety of our fleet within Guardian Flight.This technician will be qualified to support our Pilatus PC-12 airframe.This is a key role toensure our team can safely maintain and deliver timely and high-quality transportation services, care and customer service to patients.

Responsibilities

• Aircraft Maintenance Technician will perform maintenance services including mechanical inspections, screening, repairs and provide regular statuses to the Lead Technician.
• Manage inventory checks to ensure stock of supplies and equipment, regularly update the equipment tracking log, place replacement requests when necessary and document part expenditures.
• Clearly document service paperwork and FAA information as required and adhere to policies and procedures while complying with the company’s information security standards.
• Take pride in sustaining a safe and clean working environment for the aircraft maintenance team and flight crew.
• Use appropriate communication methods to help facilitate coordination of efforts between departments, vendors and team members.
• Work collaboratively and in a professional manner with all allied health and public safety personnel as well as your fellow AMTs and operations team.

Minimum Required Qualifications

• Two (2) years turboprop and/or turbine powered fixed-wing experience
• Valid Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) license.
• Valid State issued Driver's license
• Federal Aviation Regulations knowledge
• EMS Systems, Aircraft maintenance systems, records and maintenance support and planning
• Ability to work aflexible scheduleincluding overtime and 24/7 on-call rotations.
• Must be acceptable in accordance with the FAA drug and alcohol testing program.
• Must be able to push and/or pull 100+ lbs.
• Must be able to lift and/or carry up to 50 lbs.

Preferred Qualifications

• Pilatus PC-12 maintenance experience or equivalent
• FAA Inspection Authorization Certificate
• Related experience under 14 CFR Part 135
• Autopilot maintenance experience
• Avionics and electrical repair experience
