Job summary

Guardian Flight in Wichita, KS is seeking an Aircraft Maintenance Technician to ensure the safety and readiness of our King Air C90 fleet. This full-time role leads the AMT team, performs mechanical inspections, coordinates with the Lead Technician, and ensures compliance with FAA and EMS maintenance processes.

You must have an A&P license, two years of turboprop/turbine experience, a HS diploma, and the ability to work flexible schedules including on-call and overtime.

Qualifications

• Two years turboprop and/or turbine powered fixed-wing experience.
• FAA Airframe and Powerplant license.
• HS diploma or GED equivalent.
• FAA regulations knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance services including mechanical inspections, repairs and provide regular statuses to the Lead Technician.
• Manage inventory checks and update equipment tracking log; request replacements as needed.
• Document service paperwork and FAA information per policies and procedures.
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment for aircraft maintenance team and flight crew.
• Communicate across departments, vendors and team members to coordinate efforts.
• Collaborate with allied health and public safety personnel and operations team.

• Starting Salary: $78,287 - $113,480 annually

• Sign-On Bonus 12,500
• Schedule M-F or 4/10

We’re hiring aAircraft Maintenance Technician (AMT)responsible for the overall maintenance and safety of our fleet of aircraft. This Lead technician will be qualified to support our King Air C90 airframe. This is a key role in ensuring and managing our team so they can safely maintain and deliver timely and high-quality transportation services, care and customer service to patients.

Responsibilities

• Aircraft Maintenance Technician will perform maintenance services including mechanical inspections, screening, repairs and providing regular statuses to the Lead Technician.
• Manage inventory checks to ensure stock of supplies and equipment, regularly update the equipment tracking log, place replacement requests when necessary and document part expenditures.
• Clearly document service paperwork and FAA information as required and adhere to policies and procedures while complying with the company’s information security standards.
• Take pride in sustaining a safe and clean working environment for the aircraft maintenance team and flight crew.
• Use appropriate communication methods to help facilitate coordination of efforts between departments, vendors and team members.
• Work collaboratively and in a professional manner with all allied health and public safety personnel as well as your fellow AMTs and operations team.

Minimum Required Qualifications

• Two (2) years turboprop and/or turbine powered fixed-wing experience
• Valid Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) license
• Valid State issued Driver's license
• High School diploma or GED equivalent
• Federal Aviation Regulations knowledge
• EMS Systems, Aircraft maintenance systems, records and maintenance support and planning
• Ability to work aflexible scheduleincluding overtime and 24/7 on-call rotations.
• Must be acceptable in accordance with the FAA drug and alcohol testing program.
• Must be able to push and/or pull 100+ lbs.
• Must be able to lift and/or carry up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• King Air C90 maintenance experience
• FAA Inspection Authorization Certificate
• Related experience under 14 CFR Part 135
• Autopilot maintenance experience
• Avionics and electrical repair experience
