Job summary

Global Medical Response is seeking an Aircraft Maintenance Technician in Crescent City, CA. The AMT will maintain King Air B200 airframe, perform inspections, commands, and documentation to ensure safe, timely transport services for patients.

Requirements include 2+ years turboprop/turbine experience, A&P license, FAA knowledge, and ability to work flexible hours with on-call rotations. Roles involve paperwork, safety, and coordination with teams and vendors.

Qualifications

• Two years turboprop and/or turbine powered fixed-wing experience.
• Valid A&P license and FAA knowledge.
• State driver's license and GED or diploma.
• Knowledge of FAA regulations for operations.
• Experience with EMS systems and aircraft records.
• Ability to work flexible schedules including on-call shifts.
• Able to comply with FAA drug/alcohol testing requirements.
• Able to push/pull 100+ lbs and lift 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, inspections, repairs and report statuses to lead technician.
• Manage inventory checks, update tracking logs and order parts.
• Document service paperwork and FAA information per procedures.
• Maintain a safe, clean work environment for AMTs and flight crew.
• Communicate across departments, vendors and team members.
• Collaborate professionally with health and public safety personnel.

• Starting Salary: $65,239 - $94,567 annually

• Monday - Friday schedule

We’re hiring anAircraft Maintenance Technician (AMT)responsible for the overall maintenance and safety of our fleet within Reach Air Medical Services. This technician will be qualified to support our King Air B200 airframe. This is a key role toensure our team can safely maintain and deliver timely and high-quality transportation services, care and customer service to patients.

Responsibilities

• Aircraft Maintenance Technician will perform maintenance services including mechanical inspections, screening, repairs and provide regular statuses to the Lead Technician.
• Manage inventory checks to ensure stock of supplies and equipment, regularly update the equipment tracking log, place replacement requests when necessary and document part expenditures.
• Clearly document service paperwork and FAA information as required and adhere to policies and procedures while complying with the company’s information security standards.
• Take pride in sustaining a safe and clean working environment for the aircraft maintenance team and flight crew.
• Use appropriate communication methods to help facilitate coordination of efforts between departments, vendors and team members.
• Work collaboratively and in a professional manner with all allied health and public safety personnel as well as your fellow AMTs and operations team.

Minimum Required Qualifications

• Two (2) years turboprop and/or turbine powered fixed-wing experience
• Valid Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) license
• Valid State issued Driver's license
• High School diploma or GED equivalent
• Federal Aviation Regulations knowledge
• EMS Systems, Aircraft maintenance systems, records and maintenance support and planning
• Ability to work aflexible scheduleincluding overtime and 24/7 on-call rotations.
• Must be acceptable in accordance with the FAA drug and alcohol testing program.
• Must be able to push and/or pull 100+ lbs.
• Must be able to lift and/or carry up to 50 lbs.

Preferred Qualifications

• King Air B200 maintenance experience or equivalent
• FAA Inspection Authorization Certificate
• Related experience under 14CFR Part 135
• Autopilot maintenance experience
• Avionics and electrical repair experience
