Job summary

United Airlines is hiring a full-time Aircraft Maintenance Technician (AMT) with an FAA A&P license to join our Technical Operations team in a domestic hub. You will service and maintain aircraft systems, Powerplant, Airframe and Components, perform inspections, troubleshooting and routine maintenance to keep our fleet flight-ready.

The position requires a valid US driver's license, ability to work shifts in a 24/7 operation, and willingness to training.

Qualifications

• FAA A&P License is required.
• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Must pass a background check and drug screen.
• Ability to access elevated areas and lift up to 50 lb.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance on aircraft systems, Powerplant, Airframe and Components.
• Conduct inspections and preventive maintenance.
• Troubleshoot and repair components; replace parts as needed.
• Perform routine maintenance to keep fleet flight-ready.
