United Airlines seeks an Aircraft Maintenance Technician (AMT) with valid FAA A&P certification to join our Technical Operations team at one of United's domestic hubs.

You will provide service and maintenance for aircraft systems, Powerplant, Airframe and Components, including inspections, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, parts replacement and repair. You will work outdoors, often in weather extremes, and collaborate with colleagues to keep fleets flight-ready.

Qualifications

• FAA A&P license required.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Must pass background check and drug screen.

We're looking for a full-time Aircraft Maintenance Technician (AMT) who has valid Airframe & Powerplant certification to join our Technical Operations team in one of United's domestic HUBS.

In this vital role, you will provide service and maintenance for aircraft systems, Powerplant, Airframe and Components. You'll handle a wide variety of duties that make every day different, including inspections, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, parts replacement and repair, as well as routine maintenance.

• You will generally be working out in the elements, so you must be capable of handling weather extremes.

Requirements/Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED/Educational Equivalent
• FAA A&P License
• Valid US Driver's License
• Computer literacy
• Must pass a background check and drug screen upon contingent job offer
• An eagerness to learn and willingness to train
• The ability to access elevated aircraft areas via ladders, lift trucks, boom lifts and other devices
• The strength to lift 50 pounds, physical flexibility and the ability to work in confined spaces
• Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship
