Job summary

United Airlines is hiring a full‑time Aircraft Maintenance Technician (AMT) with valid Airframe & Powerplant certification to join our Technical Operations team at one of United’s domestic HUBS. You’ll service aircraft systems, perform inspections and routine maintenance, and troubleshoot to keep our fleet ready for customers.

The role requires flexibility to work any shift in a 24/7 operation, cross‑functional teamwork, and compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• FAA A&P license is required.
• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Willingness to work any shift in a 24/7 operation, including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Must pass background checks and drug screen.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Provide service and maintenance for aircraft systems, Powerplant, Airframe and Components.
• Perform inspections, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting and repairs.
• Replace parts and conduct routine maintenance as part of a diverse workload.
