Job summary

Delta Air Lines in Honolulu (OGG) seeks an Aircraft Maintenance Technician to uphold the fleet to FAA specifications, inspect components, and document procedures for safe operation.

Responsibility includes repairs, installations, and reviews of maintenance records while mentoring others and ensuring compliance with regulations. Must hold an FAA A&P license, read/write English, and be legally eligible to work in the United States.

Qualifications

• FAA license to work on airframes and power plants is required.
• DOT pre-employment drug screen and random testing after hire.
• Read, write, speak and understand English proficiently.
• Must be at least 18 and legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Experience or familiarity with maintenance manuals and procedures is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Inspect aircraft and components for airworthiness and wear.
• Perform repairs, replacements, or modifications per drawings and manuals.
• Document maintenance activities and discrepancies accurately.
• Ensure all work complies with safety and regulatory standards.
• Interpret logs and issues to determine next steps and actions.
• Mentor junior technicians and share technical guidance.
