Job summary

Aloha Air Cargo in Kahului, HI is seeking a skilled aircraft maintenance technician to join our Line Maintenance team. This role requires an Airframe & Powerplant certificate, a valid driver’s license, and hands-on work on aircraft systems, powerplants, airframe, avionics, and components.

You will sign forms, release aircraft for service, and help resolve discrepancies. Two years A&P experience is preferred; electrical/avionics experience is desirable.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency.
• Must possess valid driver’s license and current Airframe & Powerplant Certificate.
• Two years A&P experience preferred.
• Previous electrical and avionics experience desired.
• Must possess excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test, 5-year background check, 10-year criminal history check and security threat assessment.

Responsibilities

• Initiate, execute and sign forms, tags, and other paperwork in accordance with maintenance manuals.
• Release aircraft for service in accordance with procedures.
• Provide assistance in interpretation and resolution of aircraft discrepancies.
• Repair, service and maintain aircraft systems, powerplants, airframe and avionics.
• Account for general upkeep of ground equipment supporting Line Maintenance activities.
• Travel as necessary based on operational needs.
