Job description

Aircraft Maintenance Technician (Rover)

IMMEDIATELY HIRING! Aircraft Maintenance Technician (Rover) FULL-TIME Opportunity in Grand Forks, ND

  • Starting Wage: $44 - $56/hr DOE (including 20% geo modifier)
  • $10,000 sign on bonus
  • 14 days on/14 days off

The Aircraft Maintenance Technician (Rover) is assigned to cover multiple bases and is responsible for performing field maintenance on Company aircraft in accordance with all applicable 14 CFR regulatory requirements, company policies, and procedures. The AMT (Rover) reports directly to the Regional Maintenance Manager.

Responsibilities

  • Performs and documents field maintenance of aircraft airframe, engines, propellers, and appliances following company manuals, FAA approved data, and 14 CFR regulations.
  • Ensures all maintenance records and documents are completed, processed, and filed per company policies and regulations.
  • Maintains parts inventory according to company policies: processes orders, maintains inventory, ships cores for repair, and performs inventory counts.
  • Maintains company-owned tools and ground support equipment.
  • Communicates with Operations and Communications Center regarding aircraft status and availability.
  • Provides after-hours on-call maintenance support as assigned.
  • Travel extensively to field bases to support scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, ensuring aircraft are returned to service safely and efficiently.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by the Regional Maintenance Manager.

Minimum Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Five (5) years of experience maintaining turboprop and/or turbine aircraft
  • Valid A&P license
  • Valid State driver's license
  • Knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations
  • Experience with EMS systems, aircraft maintenance systems, records, and support planning
  • Own basic aircraft mechanic tools and maintain accountability
  • Willingness to participate in after-hours on-call support, including travel and working evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Willingness to travel 75-85% of the time

Preferred Qualifications

  • FAA Inspection Authorization
  • Experience under CFR Part 14
  • Autopilot maintenance experience
  • Avionics and electrical repair experience
  • PC-12 maintenance experience
