Job summary

West Star Aviation is seeking an Aircraft Maintenance Technician in Perryville, MO. The role involves performing general mechanical tasks on aircraft and related systems, troubleshooting, and assisting in inspections to ensure airworthiness.

You will work with a team in a hangar environment, following FAA guidelines, with benefits kicking in on day one, and a path for professional growth within a leading MRO provider. High school diploma and A&P license required.

Qualifications

• A High school diploma or equivalent, and Airframe and Powerplant License are required.
• Valid driver’s license for airline travel and/or valid passport ideal.

Responsibilities

• Performing general mechanical tasks on aircraft and related systems.
• Removal and installation of panels and components.
• Troubleshooting and problem-solving aircraft system issues.
• Inspect and evaluate the aircraft and components.
• Maintain and repair shop facilities, equipment and tooling.
