Silver Airways is hiring AMTs to join our team at the TPA station. We operate more routes within Florida and to the Bahamas than any other airline, and we need your help to keep our fleet in top condition! The A&P Technician (AMT) performs maintenance checks, including line & service checks, and handles non-routine heavy maintenance.

Day-to-day Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair aircraft systems, engines, electrical, and avionics malfunctions
• Complete logbooks, work cards, and document maintenance activities as per the General Maintenance Manual
• Perform minor structural and composite material repairs
• Report to shift lead mechanic or supervisor for work and shift assignments
• Read and interpret Maintenance Manual, Illustrated Parts Catalog, Structural Repair, and Wiring diagrams
• Use Diagrams, System Schematics, and ATA codes effectively
• Must have own tools
• Be computer literate and proficient
• Work flexible hours, shifts, and days off, including days, nights, holidays, and overtime as needed
• Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
• Pass Drug/Alcohol Screening, FBI Fingerprinting, and a 10-Year Background Check
• Possess a current U.S. Passport or equivalent with visas if applicable
• Hold a valid driver's license

Required Education and Experience

• FAA-issued A & P Certification
• Minimum 2 years’ experience maintaining ATR or equivalent aircraft
• Experience with avionics and/or structures is preferred
