Job summary

Med-Trans Corporation in Albuquerque, NM is seeking an Aircraft Maintenance Technician (AMT) to maintain the Leonardo 119 airframe and ensure fleet safety. This role supports timely, high-quality patient transport services and involves detailed inspections, paperwork, and collaboration with the flight team.

The position offers a starting salary range of $65,239 to $94,567 per year, an IA stipend of 2,080, and a $12,500 sign-on bonus.

Qualifications

Leonardo 119 maintenance experience.
Three years turbine helicopter maintenance with at least six months in the last 24 months.
Valid Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) license.
Valid state driver's license and HS diploma or GED.
FAA regulations knowledge and ability to comply with testing program.

Responsibilities

Perform maintenance services including mechanical inspections and repairs, provide status updates to Lead Technician.
Manage inventory and log parts expenditures; request replacements as needed.
Document service paperwork and FAA information per policies; ensure information security compliance.
Maintain safe, clean working environment for aircraft maintenance team and flight crew.
Communicate effectively to coordinate with departments, vendors, and team members.
Collaborate professionally with allied health, public safety personnel, AMTs, and operations.
